💵 C.R.E.A.M 💵
By Jo
In a world where the beat of life is set to the rhythm of having resources, the acronym C.R.E.A.M. resonates as a powerful anthem of financial empowerment. Coined by the iconic Wu-Tang Clan, it declares boldly, "Cash Rules Everything Around Me." Let's get into the melody of C.R.E.A.M. and explore how embracing its essence can build a solid game plan on financial well-being.
Cultivating Wealth
"Cash" is the conductor of life's orchestra. It opens doors, creates opportunities, and provides the means to live our dreams. To cultivate wealth, one must not only earn but also manage and invest wisely. Establishing a sound financial foundation is the first note in the song of prosperity.
Resourcefulness in Every Endeavor
"Rules" highlight the all-encompassing relevance of cash in decision-making. Whether pursuing education, career goals, or personal passions, financial considerations play a pivotal role. Developing resourcefulness and financial intelligence ensures that you navigate life's ventures with a harmonious balance of ambition and fiscal responsibility.
Empowerment and Independence
"Everything Around Me" signifies the influence of cash. Beyond material possessions, financial empowerment fosters independence and resilience. It allows individuals to make choices aligned with their values, shaping a life that reflects personal aspirations rather than financial constraints.
Awareness and Mindful Spending
To truly appreciate the melody of financial empowerment, one must cultivate awareness. Mindful spending, budgeting, and saving form the intricate notes that compose the composition of a secure financial future. It's not just about accumulating wealth but understanding the cadence of your financial choices.
Mastering the Symphony of C.R.E.A.M.
In the grand symphony of life, where cash indeed holds sway, mastering the art of C.R.E.A.M. is a journey toward financial harmony. It encourages individuals to be intentional with their financial decisions, fostering a mindset of abundance, resourcefulness, and empowerment.
As we start to bop our heads to the beat of our financial aspirations, let C.R.E.A.M. be our anthem for financial wisdom, guiding us towards prosperity and well-being. Remember, it’s not just about the cash; it’s about conducting a life that resonates with purpose and financial harmony.
Escaping The Escape Cycle 🚲
By Marcus
Have a job you hate or maybe not hate but don’t care much for it?
Having to spend 40+ hours (some less) in a work environment that no longer aligns with you is no good, but this is something many of us have dealt or are going through currently.
You dread work all week then hit the weekend or your designated days off, only to spend your days off recharging from the drain of working somewhere you don't want to be. Then Monday rolls back around and you hate yourself for not using your time off to do more.
This is a vicious cycle...
Years ago, I dealt with this very issue, and it was challenging to overcome. I’d say I definitely suffered from The Sunday dreads.
The Sunday dreads are when Sunday rolls around and you spend most of your time thinking about work on Monday. Not in the good way, but in a way that you are preparing for another uphill battle of enduring your 9-5. This really snatches the end of any enjoyment left in your weekend.
Here’s one way to escape your escape cycle:
Raise The Bar & Reset Your Floor
If you are looking for new employment or maybe simply upskilling to earn a better role, you have to raise the bar somewhere. This could be working on obtaining a certification or upskilling in a different area to increase your value.
Resetting your floor is crucial! Doing the bare minimum will get you just that... the minimum. If you raise your floor or minimum to higher levels, your new minimum is productive on your worst day.
For example, raising the bar to apply to 1 new job a day minimum while maintaining that applying for 6 jobs or more being optimal is a great start. In the worst case, your new floor is still productive.
The goal is to avoid having a zero day.
You can apply this framework to your career, health, relationships, and anything you can improve by exerting effort.
Commit to your escape! Looking forward to seeing you on the other side!!
Maybe a quick nap will help you create separation from work on a long day. A YouTube short from PirateSoftware.
UNTIL NEXT TIME…
