Living A Dream ☁️
By Jo
I hope everyone gets the opportunity to live out at least one or two of their dreams. There’s something incredibly powerful about the fulfillment that comes with seeing your vision come to life. It’s not just about personal satisfaction—it’s about creating a ripple effect that can empower others to pursue their own dreams.
Truth be told, not everyone experiences this. Life, with its challenges and obligations, often puts our dreams on hold or convinces us they’re unattainable. But seeing someone else succeed, someone who dared to take a chance, can ignite a fire 🔥🔥🔥 in us. Their victory serves as proof that it’s possible, even if the odds are stacked against us.
I used to be upset and mad at the world on several occasions as an adolescent. Why couldn’t I be just a little bit taller—5 or 7 inches—to really put my athletic ability on overload? Well, that didn’t happen, but I trained so hard in my teens to be a physical warrior. At about 5’9, maybe 5’10 on a great day, I was able to bench press over 300 pounds and squat approximately 500 pounds (though I hated squats with a passion). Despite my height, I could dunk just as well as anyone taller. I even ran a 4.3 40-yard dash at one point in my life. Hoop dreams and football aspirations weren’t my long-term goals, but I obsessed over how I could always be better.
Living a dream isn’t always about achieving the impossible but finding ways to push yourself beyond your limits. The effort itself builds resilience and inspires growth. Your journey could be the spark someone else needs to believe in their potential. Chase your dreams unapologetically because you never know who’s finding hope in your story.
Your New Year Arc ⚡
By Marcus
"I’ll start next year."
"I’ll do that next year."
"New Year, New Me."
"This year, I’ll finally…"
Do any of these statements sound familiar?
The New Year and its resolutions are truly a commercial success. It’s a great opportunity to grab a few deals or create some great offerings for customers.
The problem with New Year’s resolutions is that they rarely benefit the true end user...
YOU.
The Problem with Waiting
Each year, there’s someone somewhere making a resolution with the greatest of intentions. However, life happens, we get sidetracked, and the energy and motivation that fueled those resolutions slowly fade away...
“Well, there’s always next year,” as they say.
My counterargument to this statement is:
“Nope. There’s ALWAYS NOW! Stop playing around with your time!”
New Skill Unlocked
Kill the “Traditional New Year’s Resolution.” Most fail because the fuel runs out long before people have a chance to gain momentum. The success rate is very low (around 8-9%).
Instead of waiting for the new year to roll around, use this framework as the basis to create resolutions whenever you see fit. You can be in the business of having the power to change your life 365 days a year.
That’s a great business model, and it gives you a substantial edge above the crowd.
You don’t have to wait for permission or let others dictate when it’s your time to make a major change in your life.
Your time is ANYTIME you want it to be.
