Finding Your Solitude in a World of Daily 🐂💩
By Jo
Negativity is everywhere. It's on the news, in conversations with strangers, and sometimes even within our closest circles. It's easy to get sucked into the daily grind of complaints, drama, and the never-ending cycle of bad news. But here's the truth: while negativity has the power to weigh us down, we also hold the power to rise above it.
Choosing not to give in to the negativity you encounter every day is a form of self-preservation. It’s about maintaining control over your thoughts and emotions. The reality is, life will throw curveballs at you, and people will bring their negativity into your space. The key is not to let it become your reality. Instead, build your place of solitude, a mental or physical space where positivity thrives.
This place of solitude is where you can regroup, reflect, and recharge. It's your bubble of bliss, away from the world's chaos. Whether it's a quiet room in your home, a walk in nature, or simply a mental exercise of positive affirmations, having this space is crucial. It helps you stay balanced, keeps your perspective clear, and allows you to dwell in positivity.
Remember, negativity has power only if you allow it. Choose your peace, and let your place of solitude be your sanctuary. Stay in your bubble of bliss, and don't let the world's noise drown out your inner calm.
Unsolicited advice: Aiming to be a beacon of light means striving to be a source of hope, positivity, and inspiration for those around you. It's about radiating kindness and compassion, even in the darkest of times, and being a guiding force that others can look to for strength and encouragement. By embodying the values of integrity, empathy, and resilience, you not only uplift yourself but also illuminate the path for others. Being a beacon of light isn’t about being perfect; it's about being authentic, staying true to your principles, and shining brightly so others can find their way through the shadows.
Let’s Meet In The Middle 👌

Have you ever set a goal, but a part of you thought it wasn’t possible? Did your doubts stop you from pursuing your goals? You’re not alone.
I think this happens to more of us than we are willing to admit.
Having doubts or being hesitant about decisions you have made or will make is normal. The bigger battle is fighting the doubts and the naysayers who can’t see your vision.
The Dark Knights
There are people that fight hard to keep you down. They may not even understand it, and it’s not always intentionally malicious.
Constant failure and exposure to losing circumstances will harden a person. If you’re rarely on the winning end of the outcome, it becomes increasingly difficult to find the mental energy to see any other option.
Resentment, jealousy, and envy are a potent combination of feelings. These feelings and the like fuel negativity and can turn our closest friends and family into agents of our own downfall.
Let There Be Light
I’m sure after Thomas Edison’s 10th attempt at creating the light bulb, it was easy to find people who would tell him to pack it up and shut it down. Failure is hard to deal with, so we have to develop a healthy relationship with failure in order to thrive.
Next time those doubtful thoughts creep into your mind, tell yourself, “I’m not so sure about that.”
It’s easy to give up when people encourage you to take the easy route or conform to the “norm.”
There’s a happy medium that exists between the overly optimistic and the perpetual pessimist.
How about we meet in the middle and see what happens?
“I have not failed. I’ve just found 10,000 ways that won’t work.”
-Thomas Edison
